Cannington

Located in the City of Canning: the original inhabitants of the Canning area were the Beeloo Nyungar Aboriginal people.

Cannington is well serviced by a mixture of retail and recreational facilities. Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre is a major feature of Cannington with everything from extensive retail shops, a gym, pub, restaurants, cinemas and other entertainment options available. There are numerous local parks and facilities including the Cannington Leisureplex which features indoor swimming pools, gym, sports courts, function centre, indoor playground, crèche, café and a multimedia library.

Cannington is well serviced by public transport, major transport links and cycle paths through the Canning River Precinct.

Local schools include Cannington Community College and Sevenoaks Senior College, with Curtin University a short drive (approximately 5km) away.
